Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about MyBrowser.lol — from getting started to security, pricing, and technical details.

General

MyBrowser.lol is a free online platform that lets you use real web browsers (Chrome, Firefox) running in the cloud. You can test websites, browse safely in a sandbox, or access a remote browser — all from your existing browser without installing anything.

When you start a session, MyBrowser spins up a Docker container on our cloud servers with your chosen browser. The browser runs inside a virtual display and its screen output is streamed to your device in real-time via WebSocket (noVNC protocol). Your mouse clicks and keyboard input are sent back to control the remote browser. When you end the session, the container is permanently destroyed.

Yes, MyBrowser offers free sessions. Anonymous users get 5-minute sessions, and registered accounts (free to create) get 30-minute sessions. Paid plans start at $5/month and offer sessions up to 8 hours with no advertisements.

No. MyBrowser works entirely in your existing web browser. There are no downloads, plugins, extensions, or desktop applications to install. Just visit mybrowser.lol, enter a URL, and start browsing.

Security & Privacy

Yes. Every browser session runs in an isolated Docker container on our servers. Web content never touches your local device — all rendering, JavaScript execution, and network requests happen on the remote server. When the session ends, the container is permanently destroyed along with all data.

Yes. MyBrowser's sandbox is specifically designed for safely investigating suspicious or untrusted URLs. The browser runs in complete isolation from your device. Even if the website contains malware or exploits, they cannot affect your computer because the browser is running on our server, not yours.

Yes. Each session uses a fresh browser instance with no cookies, history, or cached data. Websites see the server's IP address instead of yours. No browsing data persists after the session ends — the entire container is destroyed. We do not log the content of your browsing sessions.

A VPN encrypts your traffic and masks your IP, but websites still run code directly on your device. MyBrowser runs the entire browser on a remote server — web content never reaches your machine. This provides stronger protection against malware, browser fingerprinting, and local data leakage.

Technical

MyBrowser currently supports Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox — both running the latest stable versions. Additional browsers are planned for future releases.

The default resolution is 1920x1080 (Full HD) with 24-bit color depth. This provides a standard desktop browsing experience. Custom resolutions may be available on paid plans.

Yes. MyBrowser works on smartphones and tablets. The remote browser streams to your mobile screen, giving you a full desktop browser experience. A built-in virtual keyboard lets you type without needing a physical keyboard.

Typical latency is 30-100ms depending on your distance from the server and internet connection speed. The noVNC protocol is optimized for low-latency interaction, making browsing, clicking, and typing feel smooth and responsive.

Anonymous sessions last up to 5 minutes. Free registered accounts get 30-minute sessions. Paid plans offer sessions up to 8 hours. When a session expires, the container is automatically shut down and destroyed.

Pricing & Billing

Paid plans start at $5/month (billed yearly) and include extended sessions up to 8 hours, no advertisements, and priority access to server resources. Plans are 50% cheaper than comparable services like Browserling.
